About This Project

This project was about to created a email newsletter for this company/website, Epicurious. I wanted to make it cute and sugary, so my theme for this newsletter was about dessert for Valentine’s Day. I did not want to be too obvious with the cupid and the hearts, so I still kept the colour palette red and pink, but the illustrations is more about the feeling if cooking with your loved one. So the contour of each dessert is “melting” like the feeling pf being with the partner. Also, I used the illustration of strawberry, which is a fruit that you see a lot on cute dates and can be seen as a romantic fruit. I wanted to be inclusive, so I added a portion for the vegans. The design is inspired by love and homemade dishes you can do with your partner.
